Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 Review

Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 once again proved why it remains one of the most important events in the commercial interiors calendar. Bringing together leading manufacturers, designers, architects and specifiers, the festival offered a valuable opportunity to explore the latest products, materials and workplace solutions shaping the future of commercial design. Beyond the showroom launches and installations, the event sparked insightful conversations around sustainability, wellbeing, innovation and the evolving needs of modern workplaces, providing plenty of inspiration and industry insight for the year ahead.

The Flooring Providers team were able to view some of the latest products from two of our suppliers, Burmatex and Milliken.

Burmatex Focuses on Sustainability

Carpet Tiles from Burmatex

Burmatex reinforced the growing importance of sustainability in commercial interior design through its eco²matters® sustainability principles. As architects and designers increasingly seek transparency around the environmental impact of materials, Burmatex is championing a holistic approach that considers how flooring products are sourced, manufactured, used and ultimately reused.

With a heritage rooted in recycling and a commitment to achieving Net Zero, the company continues to demonstrate how responsible material choices can support both design excellence and environmental performance. By encouraging greater understanding of product lifecycles, embodied carbon and circular design principles, Burmatex is helping specifiers make more informed decisions that contribute to healthier, more sustainable built environments.

Milliken Unveils Quiet Statement Collection

Milliken's Quiet Statement Carpet Tile Collection

Milliken unveiled its latest modular carpet tile collection, Quiet Statement, introducing a sophisticated flooring solution designed for contemporary commercial interiors. Inspired by the architectural beauty and textured landscapes of Marrakesh, the collection combines subtle brickwork references, refined patterns and tactile surfaces to create calm, balanced environments.

,As workplace, hospitality, and residential designers increasingly seek understated yet impactful flooring, Milliken Quiet Statement offers a versatile solution that supports both aesthetic and functional design objectives.

The Milliken Quiet Statement carpet collection features four complementary designs, Maroc, Kasbah, Medina and Arabesque, each translating architectural forms, shifting light and handcrafted textures into elegant modular flooring. Available in carefully curated light and dark colourways, the collection enables designers to create seamless zoning, intuitive wayfinding and visually cohesive interiors.

Beyond its design appeal, Milliken Quiet Statement delivers exceptional sustainability and performance credentials. Manufactured using 100% regenerated ECONYL® yarn and supported by WellBAC® Comfort Plus backing, the collection enhances acoustic comfort while reducing environmental impact. The modular carpet tiles are designed for durability, easy maintenance and circular reuse, making them ideal for high-traffic commercial spaces.
